Throwing the two-seam fastball

Throwing the two-seam fastball is just as easy as throwing a four-seam fastball, but this fastball has a different effect. To grip this pitch, hold the ball with your pointer and middle finger over the laces of the ball. The two-seam fastball is a few miles slower than a regular four-seam fastball, but is more effective. The two-seam fastball will sink into the strike zone, and even tail or curve as well. The two-seam fastball is most effective when thrown at speeds of 80-90mph. Don't worry if your two-seam fastball doesn't tail or curve, just make sure that it sinks. Enjoy throwing this pitch!
